Fun Information: This Sm. King Tut Coffin w/Mummy is a representation the late Egyptian King Tutankhamen's sarcophagus along with a mummified Tut. King Tutankhamen, 1341 BC - 1323 BC, ruled as pharaoh of Egypt during the Eighteenth dynasty. His reign, 1333 BC - 1324 BC, extended during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom. Tutankhamen's name was originally Tutankhaten, meaning Living Image of Aten. However, after becoming pharaoh, his name changed to Tutankhamen meaning Living Image of Amen-Ra. Amen-Ra was the Egyptian sun god and was viewed as the most powerful god. Tutankhamen was nine years old when he came to power as pharaoh of Egypt and reigned for approximately ten years. King Tutankhamen was one of the few Egyptian pharaohs designated as a god and with a cult-like following while still living. The Tutankhamen tomb was also the most fully intact Egyptian royal tomb ever found by archeologist.
