Fun Information: This Sm. King Tut is a resin bust of the late Egyptian King Tutankhamen. King Tutankhamen who lived from 1341 BC - 1323 BC was an Egyptian pharaoh during the Eighteenth dynasty who ruled from 1333 BC - 1324 BC. His reign extended through the period of Egyptian history readily known as the New Kingdom. He was original known as Tutankhaten which meant, Living Image of Aten. However, after he became king his name was changed to Tutankhamen which meant, Living Image of Amen-Ra. Amen-Ra was the sun god in Egyptian mythology and was viewed as the greatest of all Egyptian gods. Tutankhamen was nine years old when he inherited the throne and ruled for around ten years. King Tutankhamen was one of the few kings revered as a god and with a cult-like following during his own lifetime. The tomb of Tutankhamen was also the most complete ancient Egyptian royal tomb ever found.
